LMSW Supervision
Kim offers supervision for LMSW’s in Iowa working towards independent licensure. Supervision must be at least 110 hours over a course of two to six years.
EMDRIA Certification Requirements
To be an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, you must complete an additional 20 hours of consultation (beyond your 10 hours of basic training).
A maximum of 10 of these 20 hours can be completed through group consultation.
In consultation, the focus is to ensure you understand the steps of EMDR while strengthening your skills in resourcing, treatment planning, and case conceptualization under AIP Theory.

Credentials
Kim is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S) and provides play therapy specific supervision for licensed mental health professionals who want to obtain the RPT or SB-RPT credentials conferred by APT.
Kim is a Certified EMDR therapist and Consultant-In-Training. Kim has experience with children and adults experiencing complex trauma, childhood trauma, birth trauma, and attachment issues. Kim provides consultation to newly trained or “seasoned” EMDR clinicians that are wanting to increase their knowledge and skill. Kim provides individual and group consultations for individuals working toward certification.
Kim is an Advanced Certified Adlerian Play Therapist, now offering consultation towards certification in Adlerian Play Therapy.
In addition to these certifications for consultation and supervision, Kim is an internationally credentialed sand therapist provider, a certified Synergetic Play Therapist (graduation May 2022), a registered clinician with the Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children, and a certified AutPlay provider. She has also attended training in Theraplay.
